Join Anne-Marie and Nicci as they host a summer top knit-a-long. They chose a two color vertical stripe top combining stockinette / reverse stockinette stitches, creating color play and texture. This pattern gives you choices of regular fit / longer length or oversized fit / shorter length. Please Note: This is not a class so we ask that you know the basics: knit, purl, and slipped stitches. This KAL is 5 meet-ups!

Yarn: The pattern suggests a DK weight yarn knit up at a pretty loose gauge on a US 8 (5 mm) needle.
Make sure you knit a swatch and wash and block it to find a fabric you like. Pattern gauge is 18 sts x 24 rows after blocking. The hosts will be using fingering weight yarns and a slightly smaller needle than a US 8 (5 mm) needle. We will help you do the math! It’s not hard. You are knitting rectangles and sewing them together.
