In this class, we’ll learn how to make granny squares with a flower motif incorporated in the center. You’ll practice various techniques like
Magic Circle - for starting a granny square.
Working in the round using stitch markers.
Slip Stitch, Cluster stitch.
Changing colors.
Weaving in ends.
Reading and understanding pattern instructions.
Blocking techniques and joining squares will be discussed.
Materials:
Yarn: Worsted weigh in 3 different colors.
Hook: H-5mm
Locking or split ring stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
