Join us for the 15th annual West Knits Mystery Knit A Long! We will be knitting a shawl together over the course of four weeks in October. The size, shape, and overall look of the shawl are a mystery until the very end; it’s a Stephen West pattern, so expect the unexpected!
Wednesdays, October 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th 6:00-7:30 pm
Please Note: This is NOT a class. We ask that you know the basics: knitting, purling, and slipping stitches plus casting on and binding off. Stephen West provides great instructional videos throughout the MKAL for any additional techniques.

MATERIALS:

YARN: Fingering weight yarn, two skeins each of two contrasting colors. See this WestKnits video for more information on how to choose your colors. We suggest:
Optional Mohair Dare: one 25-gram skein of a fuzzy yarn like mohair or alpaca in a contrasting or coordinating color. We suggest:

Lang Alpaca Superlight for a non-mohair option
Needle: US 4 - 3.5 mm circular needle in 40” length.
As always, please swatch and change your needle size if necessary to match the stated gauge.
Additional supplies: Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle, and waste yarn or a spare circular needle to hold stitches.
