About Linnea

Linnea McNair started knitting at the age of six at her grandmother’s knee.  “I had to knit dishcloths till they were square before she would let me do anything else.  She was a perfectionist.”

Linnea has taught for her local knit stores and has been teaching privately for several years.  She loves natural fibers and color and finds inspiration in nature.  She loves to challenge herself with something new, complicated patterns, or modifying one to her liking.  “I hope to never stop learning.”

Her teaching style is fun but informative.  Patience is paramount in her style and students come away with the skills they can use for all their projects.  From beginning knitting to design, Linnea will help you learn a new skill, a new trick, refresh your memory, or inspire you to try something totally outside of your comfort zone.
